Annual General Meeting 27th June 2025

It is a requirement of the Scout Association that we hold an Annual General Meeting once a year. This year we are pleased to be holding the meeting at Park Farm on 27th June 2025, along with an evening of activities.

The AGM is open to all members, parents, guardians and supporters to give them the opportunity to meet the Leaders and Management, understand what your periodic charges are spent on, and be involved with and understand your child’s future Scouting.

3. Governance topics

   1. Approve the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 21st September 2023

   2. Adopt the model constitution from Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR)

   3. Note the Group’s financial year

   4. Approve appointed and community members of the Group Scout Council

   5. Agree the number of members that may be appointed to the Trustee Board

   6. Agree the quorum for future meetings of the Group Scout Council (excluding this AGM)

4. Review of the previous year

   1. The Group Lead Volunteer’s review of Scouts in the 1st Tattenhams Scouts Group

   2. Receive and consider the Annual Report of the Group Trustee Board, including the annual Statement of the Accounts

5. Making appointments

   1. Appoint the Group Chair, following recommendation from the open selection process initiated by the Group Trustee Board

   2. Appoint the Group Treasurer, following recommendation from the open selection process initiated by the Group Trustee Board

   3. Appoint members of the Group Trustee Board, following recommendations from the open selection process initiated by the Group Trustee Board
